One of the two most popular singers in Kazakhstan, and a favorite of reporter Borat Sagdiyev (Sacha Baron Cohen). His biggest hit song "Bing Bang" has been on the Kazakh hit parade for 14 years.

On one album cover he is shown playing the clarinet.

He was influenced by Yilkun Yamaratov, Selki Krolp, and Jeffrey.
