Seal father-daughter horn-playing circus act from the "Puppetta of the Circus" story of Animal Comics #2 (February-March 1943). Father Napoleon is too much of a self-important ass to teach his daughter to play the horns like she would like. So some clowns secretly teach her how to play the horns, and the banjo too. Pupetta has to step up unexpectedly when her father is incapacitated by poison from a jealous circus performer. She does great, and gets the fatherly love she deserves when they team up.

Written and illustrated by Justin Gruelle, the brother of Raggedy Ann and Andy creator Johnny Gruelle!
