Merelan

Master Singer from the Dragonriders of Pern science fantasy series by Anne McCaffrey. She was first mentioned in Dragonsinger (1977), but more fully described in Masterharper of Pern (1998). She had a amazing vocal range and was muse to her composer husband, Petiron, who composed difficult pieces only she could sing.

She was the mother of Robinton.
