Maurice Jackson

African-American teenaged bluesman-wannabe from the comic strip Kudzu, written and drawn by Doug Marlette from 1981 until his death in 2007. He's the best friend of the title character. Jackson wants to sing the blues, but can't escape his comfortable, middle-class upbringing.
