Amateur wanna-be and teenage protagonist (Dwayne Hickman) of the television sitcom The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.

In "The Sweet Singer of Central High" (10 Nov. 1959) episode, Dobie tries singing like Elvis Presley.

In the "Who Needs Elvis?" (27 Sep. 1960) episode, Dobie lets pal Zelda write a song for him to sing in a school music contest ("I'm a Lover, Not a Fighter").
