Derrick Sux Ass

We have the show Less Than Kind. It’s the story about a young boy named Sheldon Blecher. He’s played by Benjamin Arthur and he looks just like a young John Candy.

He lives in a close knit Jewish family. His parents run a driving school and his older brother is a good looking actor and screw-up.

Sheldon has a friend Miriam Goldstein, played by Brooke Palsson. Miriam is his friend who becomes his best friend who becomes his girlfriend. They have a friend Danny Lubbe, who is borderline feral. He’s played by Tyler Johnston, who also plays Stewart the Skid who I talked about being a DJ when I mentioned the show Letterkenny one province ago.

The three of them have a fun little band where they would mess around and have fun. Sheldon plays bass, Danny plays guitar, and Miriam plays keyboards and sings and adds bird calls.

The band was secret and unnamed and fun until the gang starts talking smack with a fellow classmate Derrick about an upcoming battle of the bands, and that’s when Danny names the band, the official name of the band that goes with them forever.

The name maketh the band.

They play at the battle of the bands, when Danny shows up drunk in a dress, plays a power. Chord lewdly, class off the stage, throws up and pees himself. But at least he has a story.
