Demodocus

Wandering blind poet/bard/minstrel in Homer's poem Odyssey (8th century B.C.). Although he appears in the court of Alcinous, king of the Phaeacians on the island of Scherie, he is not part of the court, but just stopping by. He sings three songs while protagonist Odysseus is there. Two of them are about the Trojan War, and make Odysseus weep, because PTSD.
