Top pop composer looking for a new collaborator and finding one in budding lyricist Sonia Walsk in the stage musical They're Playing Our Song by Neil Simon, Marvin Hamlisch, and Carole Bayer Sager. Based on the real life relationship by composers Marvin Hamlisch and Carole Bayer Sager.
It premiered in Los Angeles in December 1978.
