The a capella group of Richard Meyers (John Michael Higgins), the square-and-also-maybe-gay brother of Brooke Meyers (Jennifer Anniston's character) in The Break-Up (2006).
Played by: Gunnar Madsen, Karl Solis, Michael Winther, Eric Bradley, Paul Peterson, and Sean P. Gorecki.
Later they rehearse in her room while he's hungover and Richard kicks his ass.
The movie also features real band The Old 97s.
The Tone Rangers was also the name of the a capella group of super square Phil Knight (John Michael Higgins again) from the Kath & Kim episode "The Breakup."
They perform Yes's "Owner of a Lonely Heart" at a parent meeting/dinner.
