Rock band first mentioned in the 1975 novel The Eye in the Pyramid, the second book in Robert Shea's Robert Anton Wilson’s insane Illuminatus! trilogy. In the third novel, Leviathan, they come to the Bavarian city of Ingolstadt to participate in the Walpurgisnacht rock festival. Characters smell drugs coming from their trailer.

The Plastic Canoe is wailing KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE.
