Ensemble that is the focus of "Prelude," an episode of Endeavour (first aired 26 Feb. 2023). Leader Sir Alexander Lermontov (Nicholas Farrell) plays a major role in the episode, as does guest soloist Christina Poole (Kirstin Louie), first violinist Margaux Quincannon (Tamsin Newlands), and supporting violinist Mabs Portman (Imogen Daines). While she's not shown as a performer, it's a fair bet that Madame Belasco (Jane Lapotaire), proprietor of a school for musical youth, has some musical talent too.
