One of the many fictional jazz outfits created by DJ/producer Madlib in the 2000s. The releases by these 'bands' on Stones Throw Records often looked and sounded as if they were vintage and discovered in a second-hand record store, with pre-printed ringwear on the cover and pre-recorded vinyl crackling in between songs.

The Jazzistics appear on the 2007 compilation "Yesterdays Universe!" with the song "Marcus, Martin & Malcolm", alongside the flagship band in this context, Yesterdays New Quintet.
