Budding lyricist who finds a collaborator and a love in composer Vernon Gersch in the stage musical They're Playing Our Song by Neil Simon, Marvin Hamlisch, and Carole Bayer Sager. Based on the real life relationship by composers Marvin Hamlisch and Carole Bayer Sager.
It premiered in Los Angeles in December 1978.
