Double-bassist* (Paul Sand) whose romantic entanglements are the focus of the short-lived 1974–1975 CBS sitcom Friends and Lovers (aka Paul Sand in Friends and Lovers).

*IMDB seems confused by this instrument—it's referred to as a violin and a cello at different points. But yeah, it's a bass.
