Troubadour working the Seven Kingdoms in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire universe (1996–), which was adapted into HBO's Game of Thrones (2011–2019). He's more of a character in the novels, with lots of sexy adventures before his inevitable torture and murder. In the show, he makes a few appearances before getting his tongue removed for singing a scandalous song about the king and queen. (In the novel, the bard who sings that particular song is a different, unnamed character.)

Fun fact: Martin actually didn't realize there was already another musical Marillion when he named the character.
