Lute

Hapless bard who is the boyfriend of Honi, the teenaged daughter of viking marauder Hagar the Horrible, protagonist of the comic strip of the same name. The comic strip first appeared in February 1973 by cartoonist Dik Browne, and syndicated by King Features Syndicate.

The character of Lute also appeared in the 1989 CBS animated television adaptation, Hägar the Horrible: Hägar Knows Best, where Lute was voiced by Donny Most.
