They win the audition, but only appear in the beginning of the episode. Main character Tommy Bradford (Willie Aames), who figured his band, (either [[Tijuana Tokyo]] or [[Tommy Bradford and the Action]]) had it in the bag, is super-annoyed. Being a male chauvinist pig about it, he decides to protest this upside-down, topsy-turvy world where girls can rock by... running for prom queen? Sure, Tommy, you do that. So he does, and wins.
