Fictitious 9th century Welsh bard and harpist (AKA Geraint Fardd Glas, or Geraint Vardd Glas), invented by Iolo Morganwg/Edward Williams (1747-1826), Welsh antiquarian, poet, and literary forger. He appears in Volume 3 of The Myvyrian Archaiology of Wales: Collected Out of Ancient Manuscripts (1807) by Morganwg and others. It contains "Athrawiaeth Geraint Varrd Glas" ("Geraint the Blue Bard's Doctrine").
