Juvenile hardcore punk band appearing in the music video for the song "Promise Made" (2023) by Don't Sleep. The storyline follows the members of Fear of Failure preparing a gig in a small town. We see them flyering, practicing, loading their van, arriving at the venue (Metropolis) and performing the show. The punchline is that nobody showed up for the gig. "We believe in the promise made", is the chorus to the song.
Fear of Failure includes Evan McGrath on guitar, the son of Don't Sleep-guitarist Tom McGrath, and Theo Rothman on bass, the son of Don't Sleep-bassist Garrett Rothman. The fictional band also includes Izzy Howard on guitar, whose father Josh Howard plays bass in punk band The Virus.
