Insect swing band from the 1938 Terrytoon animated short Bugs Beetle and His Orchestra.
First off, yes this predates Bugs Bunny, but only by a year or two. Second, the cartoon is titled Bugs Beetle and His Orchestra, but in the cartoon, the sign clearly says Bugs Beetle and His Band. Go figure.
