The star of numerous 1930s black and white short cartoons, she would occasionally be a singer.

Her first appearance was in the 1930 short Dizzy Dishes, where she sang at a fancy unnamed restaurant. She was a parody of real singer Helen Kane, who even filed a lawsuit against the creators in 1932.
