The Phynx

Phony band created by the federal "Super Secret Agency" in the famously terrible 1970 film of the same name. Albanians (Albanians?) have captured a bunch of aging Hollywood stars—Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, Johnny Weissmuller, George Jessel, Guy Lombardo—some more recent celebs—Ed Sullivan, James Brown, Dick Clark, Richard Pryor, Rona Barrett—and fried chicken impresarios—Colonel Sanders and, uh, well just Colonel Sanders. It's up to a hastily thrown-together band to top the Albanian charts, go on tour, and rescue them!
