British humor magazine Private Eye has been spoofing the excesses of rock in print and with flexidiscs since the sixties, using this fake band and its leader, Spiggy Topes. Unfortunately, the only place us Yanks can find them is on the 1993 compilation album "Dead Parrots Society: The Best of British Comedy" on Rhino Records.
