Christopher Blue

Fake band from cartoonist Bil Keane, better known for his interminable and schmaltzy single panel cartoon, Family Circus. In a comedic clash of the titans, he illustrated/collaborated with humor columnist Erma Bombeck on the 1971 book "Just wait till you have children of your own!"

In the "Stone age versus rock age" chapter, Keane drops this fake band (apparently a band, and not a lone musician) into the middle of a cartoon of a record store where all the other bands shown are real. And then again in another cartoon is a Christopher Blue album. Perhaps it's some kind of in-joke, maybe involving one of his children, who is named Christopher.
