The argyle gargoyle who gargles Gershwin gorgeously in the "Star Wars" episode of The Muppet Show (first aired 16 Jan. 1980). He was scheduled as the headliner before the cast of Star Wars upstaged him. He does get to gargle "Summertime" with Luke (Mark Hamill) at one point. That Mark, he's a good sport.
