Cowboy singer/songwriter known as "the Prairie Troubadour," first appearing in DC's Action Comics #42 (November, 1941). His father was a Wyoming sheriff. When his father was killed by bandits, Greg became the masked hero "the Vigilante."
For a while he became a Hollywood actor.
