Famous opera singer from the "Coming, Eden Bower!" short story by Willa Cather, first published in Smart Set in August 1920. It was included in the 1920 collection Youth and the Bright Medusa retitled "Coming, Aphrodite," with minor changes.

Her name is up in lights at the Manhattan Opera House.
