Two down and out musicians, Hans Mertens (Dieter Borsche) and Peter (Georg Thomalla), have to dress in drag to get work in this band. If you think that sounds familiar, it's because it was remade in 1959 as Some Like it Hot by Billy Wilder (see Sugar Kane).
