Drummer and... research chemist?! uh, from "The Wrong Man" story of romance comic book My Secret Life #19 (Aug 1957). Kramer is playing drums for an unnamed dance band at a beach club when he meets vacationing Lila Baron and her super, super, controlling mother who doesn't approve of him.
She packs her daughter up and takes her back home to her "proper" boyfriend, Edward L. Post. But Post introduces her to the company's new "whiz kid" research chemist, Hank Kramer! Then for no reason, there's a fire for Kramer to heroically extinguish, the end.
When asked if he's any good at the drums, he says "not very."
