Lyre-playing suitor of Lucy who sings "The Bridal of Triermain," as part of a framing device for the actual poem of that name, really by Sir Walter Scott. It was originally published anonymously in 1813, cause Scott was trying to fool readers into thinking it was by his pal William Erskine, even getting Erskine to write the preface.
