Czar Tusdie

American jazz bandleader from Colin MacInnes' 1956 novel Absolute Beginners. The narrator, photographer Blitz Baby, visits a concert by Czar Tusdie's band featuring singer Maria Bethlehem. Blitz Baby describes Czar Tusdie's as one of the great bands of all time. The concert is held at a super-cinema in North London and is visited by hundreds of fans.
