Successful musician murdered by The Phantom Troubador in the "Troubador of Terror" story in The Human Torch comic book, Vol. 1, #31 (July, 1948). The Phantom Troubador shoots him at Borsch's yacht party

He was the co-composer of the popular song "Death in Venice," along with Leo Briggs, David Larnum, and Jim and Luella Clegget.
