Ray Stevens' skit "The Rock and Roll Show" from his 1962 album 1,837 Seconds of Humor has three parodies of current song trends in it, complete with short songs. The first is Tommy Jimmy, an incomprehensible Elvis-esque rockabilly singer.

The other two are Sally Smash and Wayne Twang.
