The Brassers

From the film The Commitments (1991). Country and Western band that appears (sans sound) in the last couple minutes of the film. The band is fronted by former Commitments backup singer Bernie McGloughlin (Bronagh Gallagher), who "always had terrible taste in music."

In “The Deportees,” Roddy Doyle’s 2008 follow-up short story, Mickah Wallace was the lead singer.
