British musician/mutant who appears in Marvel's New Mutants comic book series. Her first appearance was in New Mutants Annual issue 1 (1984).

In New Mutants 29 (July 1985), she mentions that she once performed with Nazgûl, the fake band that's the focus of George R. R. Martin's The Armageddon Rag.

A different, non-superpowered (but still musical) version of Cheney appears briefly in longtime X-Men writer Chris Claremont's 1997 sci-fi novel First Flight.
