Successful, married singing duo targeted by The Phantom Troubador and his gang in the "Troubador of Terror" story in The Human Torch comic book, Vol. 1, #31 (July, 1948). The Sub-Mariner and Namora arrive in time to prevent them from being murdered.

They co-composed the popular song "Death in Venice," along with Vladimir Borsch, Leo Briggs, and David Larnum.
