Famed pianist played by Albert Dupontel in the 2006 French film Avenue Montaigne (aka Orchestra Seats). He dreams of escaping the stuffy classical music world and bringing music to everyday people. Lefort is based on real pianist François-René Duchâble, who performs the piano pieces in the film and espouses many of the same anti-elitist beliefs.
