Gout Gaylord Adventures of Gossamer Wump.png

Dance band leader in the 1949 comedy album The Adventures of Gossamer Wump. He gives Gossamer Wump his first job playing triangle for his band. Unfortunately, one night Wump misses his triangle and hits Gout on the head and gets fired.

The story was written by Roger Price (who was also the co-creator of Mad Libs) and Helen Mack, the music was by Billy May, and the narration was by Frank Morgan (the Wizard from The Wizard of Oz).

His name is a joke on the name of real bandleader Guy Lombardo
