Crane Mallon

Popular singer from the "Love Conquors All" story of romance comic book Romantic Hearts #1 (March 1951). He's brought in by Jessica Walton and her rich dad to direct the small town of Plainview's production of Song of the Desert. She did it to thwart her rival Marcy Blake who was hired to direct the show.

Then he disappears, only to turn up dead in a Navy plane crash in the Korean War. Then he turns up alive with instantly-cured amnesia! Whoo!
