A "ballad-singer" and minor character who joins protagonist Captain John Farrago in his wanderings in volume two (1797) of the rambling satirical novel Modern Chivalry: Containing the Adventures of Captain John Farrago and Teague O'Regan, His servant by Hugh Henry Brackenridge, who was a justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
