Fictitious conductor of the Süddeutsche Philharmonie (South German Philharmonic), the Philharmonia Slavonica, and the London Festival Orchestra, invented by real conductor/huckster Alfred Scholz. During the 1970s, Scholz sold the same recordings of his Süddeutsche Philharmonie to different labels under different names and conductors, including this one. His name seems to originate sometime in the 1990s when Scholz's catalog changed hands to Point Productions, which generated the name when it started releasing the works under the Point Classics record label.
