Band obliquely mentioned in William Gibson's 2003 sci-fi thriller Pattern Recognition. Apparently, there was a name change, since one character refers to "that Finnish girl, the one whose band had been called Velcro Kitty until the trademark lawyers arrived" (112). She's rumored to be in a relationship with former BSE frontman Billy Prion.
