They were listed in a briefly glimpsed Music Bizz magazine top ten in the "In Search of The Stolen Album" episode (October 11, 1986) of animated cartoon series Jem.
Jem shows the list in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment near the end of the episode, excited that Jem and the Holograms' new album has hit number one. Tom Potty and the Headbreakers are in the number ten spot in a list that's all parodies of real bands and singers. This name is of course a parody of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
