Thomas Seyr

Aspiring pianist who makes do as a crooked real estate agent in The Beat That My Heart Skipped (De battre mon cœur s'est arrêté), a 2005 French film drama. A chance meeting with his deceased mother's agent (she was a pianist as well) inspires him to connect with Miao Lin, a virtuoso pianist and teacher. Seyr is played by Romain Duris.

Fake band connection: This film is a loose remake of Fingers, which features another fake pianist looking to escape a shady life.
