It's not precisely clear which of the five jazz musicians in the illustration is Priest. However, the trumpet player is front and center, leading to the assumption that he should be Priest. However, the trumpet player looks way more like other real jazzman Dizzy Gillespie, with his giant, puffed-out cheeks. Thelonious Monk was a pianist, not a horn player.
