From the TV show The Ernie Kovacs Show (1952-1956). Classic sight AND sound gag from the great Ernie Kovacs. This trio of mute mechanical apes with bowler hats mimes to a recording of the instrumental tune "Solfeggio." They appeared several times on the show, first on 21 April 1954. Ernie Kovacs played the conductor; the other two apes were played by a variety of people at different times, including Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis!
