Would-be animal band from the short text-only story "The Monkeyshine's Musicians" by Joe Blair, in Monkeyshines Comics #6 (Fall 1945). Ferdie finds a saxophone, and gets his friends to start a band. But Ferdie is so terrible, he gets paid to not play.
