Teen rock band of the fading Mod trend in a very short-lived Gold Key comic book series (only two issues), The Modniks (August 1967 - August 1970). They hassle Principal Blair of Surfside High. Created by Gary Poole.

Later, their comic was retooled as The Mod Wheels (February 1971 - January 1976) and they turned into a racing team with some toy car tie-ins.
