Band used as an example in the 1994 nonfiction work The Songwriter's Market Guide to Song and Demo Submission Formats. Their 1993 demo tape illustrates chapter one, on cassettes.

"Mahalo" is Hawaiian for thanks, so possibly they are Hawaiian. They recorded in Eagle Rock, CA, and their management is out of Los Angeles.
