The Lovettes

From the "A Song for the Soul" episode of the TV show Quantum Leap (first aired 26 Feb. 1992). In the episode, which is 1963, Sam jumps into body of amateur black girl group backup singer Cherrie (Tiffany Jackson). He must keep lead singer Lynell Walters (Tamara Townsend) from signing a contract with sleazy night club owner Bobby Lee (Eriq La Salle) who's also a part time pimp, AND reunite her with her minister father Rev. Walters (Harrison Page).
